|Mrs. Ott's Class||
Winter is officially getting long! We have had 45 days of sub zero weather here in northern MN. School has been closed five whole days and has been two hours late many times as well.
Thank goodness we will have a fun break this week celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday! We will also be disecting some owl pellets and making a fun snack. To top it off, on Friday we will have a read in with parents which will lead us into a nice week of spring break. Hopefully it will be a warm break so kids can play outside!
This week we are writing friendly letters. At this time of year Santa is the perfect recipient! We are hoping he will have time to reply to our letters before Christmas.
We know that Santa is really busy right now. In fact he is so busy that he is in need of a vacation! We are working on designing fancy disguises for Santa so that he can go on a vacation without people recognizing him. It will be fun to see the creativity!
If you were a turkey about to become Thanksgiving dinner, how would you devise an escape plan?
Wow! It is hard to believe a month of school has gone by already! Things are going well and getting better everyday. It is so much fun getting to know all of you! Did you know we have students with many different kinds of pets?
If you are viewing this page, please list your favorite pet.
I am glad to see you are visiting our class website! Let me know you have visited by typing a greeting or typing your first name below in the comment area. REMEMBER: Never share your last name, phone number, address or other personal information on the Internet.
Getting ready for school is so much fun! It is a great time to get creative and crafty, two of my favorite things to do! Today I made your name plates for your desks and your locker labels. They are too cute!
This week I will visit our classroom to start preparing for the school year. Last week when I stopped by there was nothing in the room at all! I am hoping this week we will have desks and tables. I can't wait to start decorating! :)
